After scoring a 3:2 away win this past Wednesday in Bavaria, Russia’s Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK will play again Generali UNTERHACHING – the current leader of the Bundesliga – in a few days for the return match of the Playoffs 12 in the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League.

Munich, Germany, February 1, 2012. The power of Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK proved to be too much to handle for Germany’s Generali UNTERHACHING in the first round of their Playoffs 12 matchup in the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League. Though the Germans, who sneaked into the knockout-round as the best third-ranked team of the prelims, put up a good fight in front of a sellout-crowd of 1’518 at Generali Sports Arena the visitors from Siberia won 3:1 (25-19, 20-25, 25-16, 25-23) in 1 hour and 43 minutes.

Luxembourg, January 19, 2012. The city of Lodz will be the venue – for the third time in the last 5 years – of the final four that will crown and celebrate the winners of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Men.

Novosibirsk, Russia, January 18, 2012. With the leadership of Pool E being at stake, Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK scored this afternoon a 3:1 win to edge Italy’s Lube Banca Marche MACERATA and advance to the Playoffs 12 of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League as the first-ranked team of the group. 

Novosibirsk, Russia, January 15, 2012. Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK will host the current leader of Pool "E"  Lube Banca Marche MACERATA this coming Wednesday  in the capital of Siberia. Russians have already qualified last Thursday for the Playoffs 12 of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League by winning Austrian team in away match with the score  3:2 (25:15, 22:25, 21:25, 25:19, 15:13).

Innsbruck, Austria, January 11th, 2012. Hypo Tirol INNSBRUCK will be hosting the current leader of Pool E and recent winner of the Cup of Russia, Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK, this coming Thursday for the fifth round of action in the prelims of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
